LyzerBrill Super

(Specially formulated to facilitate unwinding and conditioning of dyed yarn for subsequent weaving /knitting to enhance its efficiency.)

Appearance: Off white viscous emulsion.

Constitution: Silicones with lipid derivatives.

Ionicity: Weakly cationic.

pH of 1% solution: 6.0-7.0.

Effect: The process of scouring and bleaching is observed to bring about certain physico-chemical changes on the yarn, which is attributed to its extractive nature. The yarn is rendered white and boardy by decolouration of the naturally present colouring matter and also by extraction of natural oils (during scouring) which functions to protect the yarn from damages. This results in the yarn being rendered less strong, the effects of which are explicit during the subsequent process of weaving, when warp breakage results in reduced weaving efficiency. In order to diminish or completely eliminate the negative effects of the preparatory processes, we have developed LyzerBrill Super, which forms a protective layer going right upto the core of the yarn to enhance the operation of weaving. Treatment with LyzerBrill Super renders the yarn highly pliable which enhances weaving as well as knitting efficiency. The treatment of the dyed yarn with this product is observed to facilitate unwinding of the same from the dyed packages with ease .The product reduces the piling up of static charges by preventing their formation and also dissipation of charge if any is formed during the unwinding process.

Advantage: The product reduces breakage of the yarn, enhances weaving and knitting efficiency and does not interfere with size pick up during sizing. The product is observed to be compatible with most ingredients in yarn finishing.

Application: The bleached/dyed yarn is passed through a dispersion of LyzerBrill Super. The product is easily miscible with water in all proportions . The yarn is treated with a dispersion of LyzerBrill Super of approximately 0.5-2.0% strength, based on its weight and dried, when non-volatiles form a coating that imparts the desired properties to enhance weaving efficiency. Alternatively about 0.25 to 0.5cc/litre may be used with LyzerBrill Super in order to facilitate better treatment.

STORAGE: The product enjoys very good shelf life and warrants no particular storage conditions. However it is always advisable to have moderate conditions with the container being recapped tightly after use. 9 to 12 months if stored below 30°c
