Lyzer D Chlor
(Eliminates residual chlorine and hydrogen peroxide from
textiles.)
Appearance: White powder.
Constitution: Buffered
mixture of inorganic and organic compounds.
Description: In the garment
wash process it is often necessary to use either sodium
hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide at various stages. It is
essential to remove the residual traces of such oxidants to
ensure consistent shades particularly with reactives used for
over dyeing on denims. To achieve this a number of wash cycles
may be required resulting in excessive waste of water. In order
to reduce the number of wash cycles, rinsing with Lyzer D Chlor
helps to eliminate these oxidants. Besides deactivating the
oxidants Lyzer D Chlor also helps to reduce the bath alkalinity.
The concentration of Lyzer D Chlor depends on the amount of the
residual oxidant and is to be applied after the first rinse
following the draining of the oxidative bath. Treatment with the
product is imperative prior to the final finishing of the
garment.
